WINNER: Ultra Concentrated Dawn Dishwashing Liquid
Ultra Concentrated Dawn Dishwashing Liquid earned the SocialMoms Seal of Approval after a panel of 29 tough, opinionated SocialMoms subjected the product to a battery of in-home dishwashing challenges using a minimal amount of product -- just 5-10ml of concentrate.
Ultra Concentrated Dawn was evaluated in a blind study for its overall value and performance. We also asked the moms how likely they would be, after testing this product blind, to recommend it to their peers.
Following the SocialMoms Seal of Approval methodology, moms tested the product's ability to remove grease, cut through sticky messes, and tackle a tough sink-full of dishes -- while only using 5-10ml of product. We wanted to see how the product performed, and P&G was brave enough to allow us to put the product (and its claims) through its paces. We put Ultra Concentrated Dawn to the test in a blind study, and our moms gave the product exceptional marks across the board. Overall, at least nine out of ten evaluators felt the product met or exceeded expectations from both an effectiveness and value standpoint.
Instructed to use just 5ml to 10ml of product to clean a sink full of greasy dishes, an incredible 100% of evaluators said the product met or exceeded their expectations in breaking down grease and cutting through sticky messes — despite the small amount used. Nine out of ten felt the product was a great value, given the concentrated nature of the product and its overall effectiveness. 93% of the moms who tested the product said they are “likely” or “highly likely” to recommend the product to their peers.

Ultra Concentrated Dawn participated in the SocialMoms Seal of Approval evaluation process, which involves underwriting a standardized, in-home research project developed by the SocialMoms team and executed by compensated members of the SocialMoms evaluation panel. Performance: Effectiveness on Tough Dishes - when asked to rate the product on its effectiveness in tackling tough dishes, Ultra Concentrated Dawn met or exceeded expectations 97% of the time. The question was among the last ones asked, after evaluators had cleanined a sink-full of dishes as instructed (details).
Value - met or exceeded value expectations 90% of the time, given the fact that a tiny amount of liquid is capable of powering through a large greasy mess. (details).
